Sales Prospects is an IBES module based on Informix-4GL, and is availableas a complete, easy-to-use management tool by itself or integrated into alarger IBES application.Tracking and reporting of prospect information has two basic processes:Setup, includes salesperson data, sales prospect type data, salesprospect information, accounts receivable integration (when used inlarger IBES), and an action item routine type; and Routine Procedures,includes extensive prospect file maintenance, letter customization/mailmerge functions, and appointment scheduling/printing by salesperson.Key features include powerful QBE that allow myriad database searches,maintenance of prospect notes, printing of mail labels based on complexdatabase searches, mail merge, one-keystroke client record creation, andpossible commission calculation when interfaced with AR.
